2) Revamping of laboratory and lecture halls
The 2020 action year driven agenda of the SRC has been launched with tremendous revamping of our age-old laboratory, lecture halls at the Library block and FOE. This tread could not have been delayed further, given the myriad challenges students on the Tamale campus face during lecture hours.
  • In all, 4 new AKAI side fans have been fixed in each of the lecture halls at FOE.
  • All sockets have been repaired and new air conditioners have been fixed at the ICT auditorium with all sockets functioning now.
  • Again, 40 fans in all have been fixed at the 4 lecture halls at the library block with all sockets fully repaired and functioning.
  • The shameful of all was the deplorable condition of our age-old laboratory that has in the past 5 years received no refurbishment. Indeed, the leadership of the SRC is on cloud nine to mention that, new ceiling fans have been fixed at all the floors of the laboratory in addition to repairing of all sockets. We know, from next trime when students go for lectures at the lab, they would indeed affirm that, 2020 is an action year.

This refurbishment was carried out by management with the support from the SRC

This project is completed and would in the coming days be operationalised to provide essential services to students at discount prices especially our final year students.
4) Tree planting
